So as I log back in after several years of inactivity, I notice that one of my pets (Shogun) how has all of these lame numbers after his name, so it looks like someone took their name. (rude!) How do I get it back/what can I do to change his name to something else?

You should be able to change that pet's name for free. Subeta used to completely clear inactive accounts so it's nicer that they stay intact unless active users take user or pet names. It's also advisable to edit out the snagged name because of the Targeting rule. Welcome back to Subeta. :)

You actually should be able to rename your pet for free if it was taken due to inactivity. But you can't get it back if it's on an active account.

i was not given an option to rename it, i just kinda logged on and there it was. so it is what it is, i guess i'll be coming up with a new name (thanks to the loyalty boxes sitting in my inventory :P) thank you for your help!

You're welcome! Have you tried going to the Pets page under the Personal tab and pulling down to "Change Name" for that particular pet? You are entitled to a free rename so I wouldn't waste a Loyalty Box on it. :)

i don't believe so, it's only got an option to change name letter cases, not change name entirely.

If you aren't given an option for a free name change (I believe you actually need to go to the regular name change page for that, but it's never happened to me so I don't know for sure) you can file a ticket. No need to waste a loyalty box on it if you haven't already.

^^; I'm not sure where to find that page. i also don't even know where the search bar is for finding pets and people too.

The search bar can be added to your sidebar through this page, and as said, the name change page is found through the dropdown next to your pet name on the Pets page, right above Change Case
