I don't support this because there's the experiment , which is extremely close to a wyvern. .

Plus there are a few other dragon species already, so I just can't get behind the idea of another dragon-type pet.

I DO support the idea of a Wyvern pet. That experiment isn't a Wyvern, it's more of a gargoyle if you ask me, and besides, it's an experiment, it doesn't have colours to pick from. Sure there are a lot of dragons, but a Wyvern isn't a dragon, just like a fox isn't a wolf. There really isn't anything but the bat to choose from if you have a wyvern character, so I'd personally like to see one as well.

Besides, I think it would be popular if drawn nicely.

We've already got the serpenth, which is literally only missing legs. This is another case of 'get an overlay', honestly. We've got a winged dragon, a wingless dragon, a dragon like gargoyle, and a winged serpent. We're full up on dragons.

Lol since when are wyverns NOT dragons? Have you ever seen Skyrim? All the dragons in there are wyvern types.

The experiment doesn't look like a gargoyle at all, not to me at least. (Plus there's the magnus for a gargoyle). Even if a wyvern isn't a dragon (...?), it's still close enough to one for me to not support the idea.

A wyvern IS a dragon. And we've already got two totally dragon like pets, one dragon like gargoyle, and a dragon like snake. We don't need more dragons. Overlay a rreign or a serpenth.

We have a lot of draconic and draconic-ish pets.

I really like the sound of that, but we already have the Common 008. Although I would imagine the artists on site doing way more with the snail's shell (colours, patterns, and shape!) if we had a snailish pet.

I totally understand what you are saying. I don't have a taste for the scaled creatures here but I immediately rushed to grab a scaled pet on another pet site. In fact, that pet and other pets on the site inspired a rush of characters and the like. And vise versa as well in terms of wanting a manchu here over other pet monkeys that other pet sites have.

But the problem is that there are limited resources. There are pets that need to be revamped and pet colours that need to be added. One artist takes one pet, another takes another, and all the while I'm sure that many of them are working on items and wearables and the like. If we had infinite resources, then perhaps, but that will never happen.

But as I can see from here, there are many pets that can be used for dragonish pets.

If I had to make a choice (from Subeta that is), I would choose a Swampie for the pet you'd like to make. The galactic swampie has golden eyes and a bit of blue and there is also the dusk swampie (and the neck might work out). I'd see nothing wrong with turning a swampie into a flying wyvern, especially when people turn pets into human characters.

Not really a fan of this, honestly. You can get really creative with your overlay and ideas with the pets we already have onsite. We don't need to keep adding dragons when there are tons of other creatures that aren't represented at all yet. Yeah, it's a little bit different than the dragons we do have but there are already so many dragons that it doesn't make that much of a difference to me.
