Is it possible to view old inactive threads or are they gone forever? I had a post offering free overlays awhile back and just wanted to retrieve the pictures I made, but when I tried to open it it said "You aren't allowed here".

- It is not because the thread is to old to view, it is because that forum is no longer active, or you've lost access to that forum (Gold Account or CW Creators forums, for example). Old threads (threads that haven't been posted on in 3+ months are simply locked, so they are read-only). Threads in old event forums such as Morostride or Luminaire are no longer accessible when they are not in season, but you may get lucky have have access to them again when they are in season again. Special event forums, like the current Battle Of The Bands forums will likely hang around for a few weeks and then be gone forever, giving that you that error if you try to view. You may also get that error if the thread was moved to a staff only forum, which typically only happens if it broke a rule and the stuff need to discuss it privately. (So short answer, if you still have the link and it doesn't work, it's unlikely to be found again, sorry)

Also, when the forums changed over a while ago to the new layout, a whole new host of problems arose. Right now it seems like the old forums are completely disabled, but since you're getting an error message, I'm assuming this isn't your problem.

You may try though to look through your recent posts and see if any of them are from the thread you're looking for, you may be able to pull them off there, or if you have posts there and pinged someone, check their recent posts, ect... You should also try using https://archive.org/web/ and see if they have a backup made of the page. Simply google image searching your username + subeta.net might also find the images. Good luck.

- Thank you for your reply, I'm 99% positive that It wasn't posted on a forum I could possibly lose access to. Also, my recent posts list is completely blank other than this one. It is on the old forums, so if they are disabled, that's probably my problem. When I google searched "Petitmort" site:subeta.net, I could see my post but all I get is a blank page. Oh well, I guess I'll have to wait until I can get the picture from my old computer. I appreciate the help :)
