I've adopt a guy, Hisagi, from the pound who is born on that date and I know also more pets from friend's who are exactly born on the same date.

I'm just curious if this phenomenon has got a reason. Is 31 december 1969 the birth date of Keith or an other staff member?. I don't know. I'm just speculating.

I'm also curious if there are pets who are registered as born at 31 december 1969, there are also pet's who are registered as born in 1900 or in 2300 for axemple.

Oké Thank you for the answer. Wow! I've got a guy who is made a very long time ago before 2004, I believe so.

That is incorrect. There was a time, before I joined I think... where all the pets created with a certain set of IDs (so spanning a certain number of days I guess) got that birthdate due to a glitch.

Ah, I see. Well it's still be interesting when that "glitch" happen.

I think 1969 fit's in any case cool.

The "real" birthday for these pets should be between August 4th and August 10th, 2011. If I remember right, something went haywire on subeta those days any pet born got a glitched birthday.

The ID's between 980935 and 982784 have these birthdays. c:

This happens sometimes on other things too, and here's why:

"Unix, the computer operating system used on most servers, workstations and mobile devices, was launched on January 1, 1970, making that date its “epoch date.” What this means is that time began for Unix at midnight on January 1, 1970. Time measurement units are counted from the epoch so that the date and time of events can be specified without question. If a time stamp is somehow reset to 0 and displayed in local time, users will see December 31, 1969 — the day before Unix’s creation."
