I think it would be a nice addition to the item hover-menu Maybe near the very top or bottom that says "You own this item! (2)" the quantify being in the parenthesis.

Yup.

I can't imagine a situation where I'd need to know this so desperately that I couldn't just do an account search for it. It doesn't take very long, and the image hovers take long enough to load as it is.

you can kinda sorta get this information already for items that are special to you by entering them in your Wish List. Then when you click on them it'll tell you it's already there.

Checking every single item would be very server intensive though.

I would LOVE to have this feature, but I know that realistically it will not happen in the next 5 years (If Subeta lasts that long cough) due to the strain on the servers.

hmmm I thought since it does this on wishlist screens it would not be to big of a strain on the servers. But I suppose on every page it would be a burden ;n;

It might take longer for the pages to load and might be a hassle if the item has a very long description.

Just open the account search in another tab and look there.

I think it'll be bad for the speed of the site... like, really bad and with a LOT of errors
