Anyone out there playing Hearthstone? What with the current Curse of Naxxramas expansion, I figured now was a good time as any to post about it!

It'd be cool to have friendly battles with others & trade tips on different heroes and cards. Especially with the expansion and the Heroic bosses coughmaexxnacough. Or, just talk about Hearthstone in general! Your favourite heroes, card decks you like to play, etc.

Yes! Hearthstone! I picked up the Curse of Naxxramas expac and it's nice to have more to the single player mode. Now if only the dailies could involve fighting them lol...

At the moment my fav deck set is the priest deck, it's been the most useful for getting through some of the tougher fights with Lightspawn + Divine Spirit. xD As much as I love that combo my favourite card will always be my Ysera card, it has saved me often. Only problem is for some reason it likes to always give me that card FIRST so I always have to discard it and often never see it again lol.

I love Hearthstone, though I confess I haven't been playing all that much lately. I haven't bought the second wing of Naxx yet. Maybe I will later today.

My favorite deck is a priest deck i've been playing a lot, though I may have to look into fixing it up a bit since I haven't changed it in a few months. I may just go to the dark side and play zoo this month. I love my priest deck, but it's not very efficient for getting to legend. I'd have to play too many games.

I've been playing with everyone favourite Shaman Thrall lately, there is something satisfying about busting out totems and making myself annoying. So far only tried one of the bosses in naxx, mostly because none of my characters have maxed level yet.

I've tried it, but I'm not really an avid player. Not really into card games, but the lure of the Hearthsteed was just too strong. (Card game player, no. Mount collector? Yes. Very yes.)

After about half a day I managed to eke out three wins with the rogue deck and got my stony pony. Really haven't bothered with the game much since other than occasionally when I'm bored.

Hearthstone is the only game that's kind of made me get into gaming again after being completely disinterested in all releases since Mists of Pandaria - it's an incredible little game.

I've been mostly playing ranked with my Rogue, a mish-mash of Naxx cards and miracle rogue elements. The actual miracle rogue deck would be much stronger but I don't have the cards for it and I like to try stuff that's mildly original (while also mildly viable)

Zoo's insane right now with the Arachnid Quarter releases, you'd likely be able to get to the top 3 ranks with it - I guess the question is if it's actually any fun that way. Personally I hate playing Zoo and the faster climb isn't worth making the game like a part-time job.

I know. I've tried the new ZooNaxx build and it's actually pretty fun. Or at least fun for a zoo deck. I'll probably just go back to priest. Right now i'm not even climbing. I'm just working on the heroic bosses. I just beat the plague quarter. I haven't tried the Military quarter yet.

I'm not a big fan of miracle. It's a cool deck, but really frustrating to play against. Are you using any of the new Naxx cards in your build?

Yeah, I get the frustration - no one wants to see a sudden 20 damage burst when they've been playing to the best of their abilities. I suspect miracle will fall a bit out of favour with more people playing Loatheb - I've had someone use it against me while six out of seven cards in my hand were spells and it was an unfortunate turn for me, though I still won the game.

Nothing too crazy, I use Nerubian Egg and Anub'ar Ambusher - since I don't have the Auctioneer or Leeroy, I need more early pressure and I don't mind having my minions returned by the Ambusher since they have useful battlecries/combos. The eggs usually get ignored until I can Cold Blood them for some value. Also I need to get more damage in since the amount of burst I can do is a bit smaller and those cards get the job done. Would love to run more but don't have a dime to spare on the other quarters.

What kind of Priest deck do you run? I'm always curious about Priest players since there's so few of them. I mostly run into vanilla midrange hunters, zoolocks and other rogues.

I've pretty much been running Amaz's old F2P priest. It's actually pretty good for it's cost, but it really does need some work now, I think I need some silences. The big problem is that I don't have Sylvanas or Rag, so that really hurts me. I usually don't mind most 4-attack drops, but I die a little inside every time I see Ysera. It almost makes me want to fit a crazed alchemist in there somewhere.

Are you going to save gold for the wings or just going to keep getting packs for now? 700 gold is a bunch to save without getting tempted to buy packs or play arena.

Silences would be great considering the current deathrattle-craze - I watch Amaz' streams at times and he fit two silences in but is still strictly against Mass Dispel. Not sure if I agree with that, but it may be too situational.

Man, personally I love Crazed Alchemist - it's a lot of fun in arena and I wish there'd be some way to fit it into constructed. Maybe it'll become a more reasonable pick in the future.

I still don't have a lot of cards since I only really started playing a month ago and whatever I get from packs is garbage (four abusive sergeants in two packs, a+) - I'm way too impatient to save up 700 gold if my current collection is completely unremarkable.

Yeah, i'd probably just buy packs too. It's better to have more options than a couple good cards and a bunch of real situational ones. The problem I have with mass dispel is that it's very situational with a high cost for it's effect. I already have a lot of card draw mechanics, so the card draw really doesn't even out the cost. I'd rather just have an owl most of the time because it's cheaper and gives board presence. It's really OP in the Four Horsemen fight in Naxx, though.

I've been playing since the Closed Beta, so I have most common and rare cards. I still need most of the epics and legendarys though.

You're right about Mass Dispel, an owl is usually sufficient to deal with the vast majority of boards currently out there - even the zero mana silence is.

I agree. The current Naxx cards are great if you already have a solid collection, which I really don't yet. The most I've got out of packs is Gorehowl and a Molten Giant, but a solid Warrior deck is usually on the expensive side and Handlock would be nearly impossible to craft - not to mention they're kind of hurting at the moment as Zoo has got more fodder. Other than that it's been some good to bad commons, bad and decent rares and not much else. Gotta say that the Arachnid Quarter cards really helped me.

I play Hearthstone pretty much on a daily basis. It's a quick, easy game that I can fit in before work and just before bed.

I play an aggrolock deck right now and so far I think it's the easiest deck to play and I just blow through all the Naxx bosses (even on heroic with an exception to a couple bosses) with it. It's fun and quick. That's the part I like the most :)

I love Hearthstone but dont have anyone to play with me (other than the random strangers) As for the curse of Naxx, I cant afford to buy it nor have the 700 gold to keep playing it so I just did the first part for free.
