I have stumbled upon a way to access the SB on the iPad/iPod, but it requires using a browser other than Safari. Here are the steps I took:

1. Go into the App Store on your iPad/iPod/iPhone.
2. Download Google Chrome.
3. Install it and sync it* as you would on your desktop or laptop.
4. Click on the menu button in the top right hand corner of Chrome.
5. Click "Request Desktop Version"
6. Try the SB after you click that and it should work.

*You only need to sync if you have Chrome on another device such as your laptop or desktop PC or mac.

and I have been trying to figure something out via discussion on FB and a bit in the Shoutbox - is there a way to use the Shoutbox in the Safari browser without having to download another browser such as Chrome in order to access the SB? Hoping someone knows.

Oh thank you I will try that, it said something about needing a sync account or was I looking at the wrong thing?

- yeah if you use google chrome you have to make a Gmail account. :) Syncing is only for those that already have accounts and want to sync their account to Chrome on their ipad/ipod/iphone.
