I'm sorry if this is premature to ask. I'm still rather new to the site. Yesterday I purchased a Gold Account at 6:47PM and as of today at 1:55PM it still hasn't kicked in? Is the lag normal?

Don't worry! I'm happy to help :) You go to your inventory, click on the item, and there should be an option to activate it - I think it says "Activate Gold Account" or something like that. Let me know if this works for you! (And also if you have any other questions.)
