I'm trying to figure out the value of recycle points, and I'm having a hard time. One can "buy" points for 10K each at the smelter.

Yet the Daisy Summerdress, for 3500 pts, is priced at 2.5M in shops, which should be closer to 35M. While the Sunflower Summerdress, for 3000 pts, is priced at 20M. The Salvaged Storm Sticker, at 150 pts, is priced at 2M.

It seems pretty obvious that 10K/pt is way overpriced for what people are willing to pay for recycle items, yet there doesn't seem to be any clarity in what people are willing to pay. Does anyone have any suggestions for an average value, or a speculative value of the points?

I'm not sure how much it'll help, but I remember buying a couple of RB items for 3k per point (from here, first post with the prices has been edited though) earlier this month. :)

- I bought items from the same user for 3k/pt. A year ago, right after the Recycle Beast accepted hundreds of thousands of Free Beers, the price was as low as 1k/pt. Without another huge influx in recycle points, I imagine that the going rate will continue to go up, but there were so many older items purchased for low rates that they will likely remain relatively inexpensive!

The Daisy Summerdress specifically was available in a giveaway a few years ago, thus the lower price there.

ah...that helps explain why its so low. Its a very pretty item and I really expected the price to be higher.
