Shinwas Bracelet Shard..why would people buy them? I mean if someone buys one does that mean that if they have it in their inventory they can bypass it at what number they have at the correct number in the quest? or can it be used as a battle weapon?

Battle weapon... no. I'm not exactly sure. But sometimes I do the other quests first; which causes problems for me to get the bracelet shards for Shinwa later on because I already maxed out the quests and thus, cannot obtain them in that way. Then I get tempted to buy the shards to complete the quests. However, when I see the prices though... but, maybe I'm sure they are people who are so rich that a million sP isn't much, especially as Shinwa sometimes hands out stat boosters. That's the incentive right there.

I don't think so. Most of the Shinwa items are less than 1mil. Doing her quest costs WAAAY less than 1mil. It's more like 100k if you don't care about price but if you try to do lower it could be..70k maybe? possibly even lower.

I dunno if item hunt asks for shinwas bracelets, but if you happen to get such an item hunt quest and you've already done all the other quests for that day, I'd definitely buy the bracelet piece from a usershop
