I'd like to turn a pet into Common Experiment - however I have been working on stats and such for the pet so I really really don't want to zap. Does anyone know of a way to get the Zapper pet without having to zap?

You can use the Miracle Potion II. That's what I used on Ganondorf and Ryoko. :) Just be sure your pet is a common color when you use it.
