Okay, first and foremost - where are these mysterious plants? I want them. I want to smash a few up in the Genetech Lab and make potions for fun. Or maybe just grow them and stare at them.

Secondly, do you guys even know what these babies do? Seriously.

"Created from the essence of the Exzhinge plant, this strange tonic will thicken your skin temporarily." (It defends 10 Light and attacks 12-17 Dark. It would be more accurate to say that darkness will shield you against light, or something.)

"Created from the essence of the young Issengen plant, this strange tonic will thicken your skin temporarily." (Accurate.)

"Created from the essence of the matured Issengen plant, this strange tonic will make your skin tougher than stone." (Accurate.)

"Created from the essence of the Enhdart plant, this strange tonic has a dual effect on both you, and your opponent." (It's an attacker, pure and simple. 1 och each icon type.)

"Created from the essence of the Traidro plant, this strange tonic will create an icy hell around whatever it touches. " (If by "icy hell" you mean 1 Ice damage and unreliable freezing, then sure.)

"Created from the essence of the Essengin plant, this strange tonic will recuperate you some." (WRONG - it boosts str and def by 100 for one turn.)

"Created from the essence of the Origard plant, this strange tonic will have you feeling a completely renewed." (It heals 100HP - few pets are "completely" renewed...)

"Created from the essence of the Neksus plant, this strange tonic will consume your opponent in a myriad of flames." (Accurate.)

I always thought it would be amazing to have these mysterious ingredients appear in some sort of site plot. I'd love to see them as items, too.

The descriptions always throw me off completely. Even though some of them are accurate, I know there are ones that aren't and so I can't trust any of them. :P

It would be nice if they were made to match up with what the potions actually do, consistently. :)

Ooh. I would love to see these as actual plants! And as cheap as they are in the main shop, I'd also like to be able to make the tonics. But I'm sure someone will come up with a good reason why that shouldn't be possible.

Also, nitpick: Maybe change the name of the Essengin? It looks/sounds too much Issengen.

Yeah, but that doesn't belong to the set really. It's more like the Rainbow Mage Amulet.

They almost sound like Atebus plants based on their names but it does seem strange that they don't exist. I will admit that the forgerous and reverberating pylonic descriptions do seem to have quite a bit of inaccuracy (I have used reverberating enough times against Saggi and Prodigy to know that even the pylonic's in battle description seems to fit the actual use of it much more than the item description does).

Actually, the forgerous pylonic seems weak altogether (the worst potion of any kind IMO).

I don't think any of those even exist outside of hoards and galleries.

I will admit that there doesn't seem to be much lore behind battling or even the weapons we use. Just to think that most of the opponents don't even have any purpose outside of the battle coliseum and most weapons don't even have any kind of backstory, but rather just exist.

I was thinking Atebus too, but you never know what weird stuff might be growing in Darkside.
