i think that a feature should be implemented that requires you to wait a certain amount of seconds between making forum posts. i accidentally double post quite frequently, and i sometimes see it happen to other users as well. this would eliminate that problem and help to prevent spamming.

I think this is more of a programming problem than a user's. We generally aren't able to double-post anyway and usually when it happens, it's because something's gone wrong. Because there's already this restriction, I' have to disagree with a posting cooldown time.
