well... if I had known this, I wouldn't have granted 10 wishes in the first 3 days!
THIS IS SO STUPID! I spent more than 50 million to grant those wishes, and the message I get now is that I have to grant ANOTHER WISH?! I'm done with spending more millions, all I want is to get the achievement, the achievement that people fulfilled my wishes
The news post only states this:
why isn't it clearly stated that it resets after 2 days? that you have to start all over again?
The reason I granted those wishes in the first 3 days is because I'm on vacation and granting wishes is soooo much easier at home. besides that I'm not willing to spend hours of my vacation to look for wishes I'm willing to grant
so to get to my point: People who granted 10 wishes already have the privilege to make 10 wishes
pinging since a lot of people see it as a issue...
edit since the group pings are still not working properly, I ping some users who already supported the idea:
100% Support this idea.

Full support. If things had been explained properly in the news post a lot of grief could have been avoided. : / Besides, 10 wishes for 10 wishes is only fair.
I completed my 10 wishes over the first and second days. I'll admit, I wasn't actually expecting anything for the future of wishing at that point - it was a new thing, I just wanted to complete the achieve. I was glad to use the shrub to grant those 10 wishes, because I felt as though I could make people happy while doing something I like (earning an achievement). However, I did get the impression from that news post that my 10 grants would equate to 10 days of wishes for me. When I realised that this was not the case, I was first confused, and then a bit disappointed. It felt almost as though it was a punishment for those who, like me, gave lots of gifts on one day - which makes no sense at all.
If the system is '1 wish granted' = '1 wish earned', then why should it be limited to next-day use? That is an honest question - please ping me if anyone can think of a reason that this would cause problems etc. I can only think that, perhaps, it might cause people to buy up all the cheap wishes, quickly. However, that is happening anyway, with no sign of change. Actually, making wishes roll over indefinitely could potentially help this situation, as presumably each person would stop attempting to grab the cheaper wishes when they had built up their own wish-bank.
Please don't misunderstand me, though. I don't mind granting wishes. It's a kind idea. However, like , there is a limit to my time at the moment (I have a dissertation to write) and I cannot spend all day refreshing, as many people have to in order to find a wish within their price range. I hear that people have luck at midnight subeta time, but unfortunately that is the equivalent of around 4am for me. I only have the time it takes to eat breakfast, lunch, and my evening break to stalk the shrub xD
To conclude, I can't think of any substantial reason to stop all granted wishes from rolling over indefinitely, without being limited to the following day. Surely generosity x3 on 1 day equates to generosity x 1 over 3 days?
I do agree that this should be made clearer to avoid misunderstandings similar to my own, if nothing else.
Totally with here. If I had known earlier I would have "saved" my wishes day by day instead of fullfilling all in the first days the achievement came out. Now my money is gone and I see no chance to get one wish granted as the actual prize ranges at the Wishing Shrub are just hilarious... Please make it biunique the next time.

I'm at 50 mil spend at the moment for just 9 wishes. I'm saving my 10th wish to complete because i found out yesterday that i would be in trouble soon if i wanted to continue to wish.
10 wishes complete should be = 10 wishes yourself. I don't want to keep paying to wish, just because I was quick with completing wishes. If i'm going to grand 10, then i want to have 10 wishes myself as well.

Supported
I'm also at an over 60mil spend on wishes that I have granted, but can't wish.
I don't understand the problem either. Filed a ticket about it and was told that 'they have discussed the problem but have decided that wishes won't be 1 grant = 1 wish' If I knew why I may understand, but right now I haven't been given a reason and I can't work out why.
In a way it puts me off sub if they are willing to allow users to spend 50+ mil and not respond/give a reason for this decision.
that's stupid 1 grant=1wish is more than fair, especially when the amount of wishes you may make is 1 per day
this is srsly a huge turn off
I DEFINITELY support the amount of wishes made corresponding exactly to the amount of wishes granted.
Seems only fair. A wish for a wish.
I totally support this idea. I don't see the point of limiting the numer of wishes you can ask per day and do not do the same with the wishes you grant (without the right of 1 granted = 1 wish). It's so cool if a person want to grant more than once per day but I think a warning about this problem would be nice.
and so that if you grant a wish, but aren&;t able to decide on your own wish that day, your wish will still be available to be made the next day – cool, right?
why isn't it clearly stated that it resets after 2 days? that you have to start all over again?
I agree that it should have said it resets after 2 days because I didn't know that either. However, the idea has always been, grant a wish first then make one. Unless you wish directly at midnight to get your wish out of the way then you can look for a wish to grant. Which is what I do, to be honest. But what I don't understand is why you guys are spending so much sp on this? Spending 50-60 mil seems to be your own prerogative, because I've only spent a few mil on wishes, myself. I do like the idea of having 10 wishes total, regardless of what day it is. They probably didn't do this though, because some people could have just done their 10 wishes and 10 grants in the first day and then not participate for the rest of the event, which is generally not what Subeta wants. (Have heard time and again they don't want participation for the first day only, but for the duration of the event)
This might will be an unpopular opinion I'm sure, but I don't think the point of the Wishing Shrub was 'you scratch my back, I'll scratch yours.' It was to grant wishes for other users, to do something nice for someone else. Sure, some people are being jerk faces and wishing for the most expensive items onsite, and that sucks. But I don't get why everyone is assuming that just because they have granted wishes, they are 'due' to have their wishes granted as well. That's not how doing things for others works, what the true intention of 'granting a wish' really is. And the way it's set up here is, you either did it for the achievements, or you're doing it to be nice, or you're doing it to get your wishes granted. But if you did all of yours to get the achievement right away, and you got your achievement, well, you got what you were 'deserved' out of that. You aren't 'owed' anything because of that. I think the fact that you get a wish for basically two days out of granting one wish is pretty good. And despite what everyone says, there are cheaper wishes there. You just have to sit and watch for them, refresh a lot, and check a lot. And if you are asked to fill a wish first, and you really, REALLY don't want to - keep checking back. You will probably catch the Bush later when there is a free spot and you don't have to grant a wish again.
[edit]
HOWEVER I do think that this feature could have been explained a LOT better, because I think a lot of users would have done this whole thing differently if they had known how it really worked.
my reason is because I needed the achievements because I"m on vacation now and will be back on the 28th, when the event is over. I had to do it the first 3 days.
because you guys talked on the "Granted 10 wishes but can't wish anymore" board and this board suggest to let people make 10 wishes if they granted 10... not on the same day, but spread over the days
I don't care much that I have to grant more, I'm just annoyed that there weren't real rules written out or explained to us before this all happened. I would have loved to know this, because then I wouldn't have blown all my money at once on all those wishes, and spread them out instead.
I agree
[flower=Senti]
I am not old. I am gracefully aged
I see where you are coming from.
However, if that is the case we should be able to wish without granting (without luck of having a free spot)
Thanks for the ping ! c:
...scrolling up a bit, I already totally agree with ,
All of this!
I don't really know how they could code it to make it always "a wish for a wish", because the only reason you have to grant a wish is... basically to pull an item from the pool so you can put yours :c Considering how it is coded now, I'm not sure how they could 'reserve' slots for people so long in advance, BUT I think the system had to be clearer from the very beggining.
Also, I think having only 150 slots for wishes is quite low... especially when there are time-sensitive achievements involved x: It forces a quick turnover, but since everyone is asking high because they know many people on the other side have to grant (both because they also want to wish and because they need achievements), it contributes to souring the experience for a lot of them.
If there were more slots and/or the room for wishes in the pool could be unlimited (but still one per day per person), that could work out a lot better. The same goes for making different pools for different price ranges, etc.
I don't think there's any fix they could push or if it would even be worth pushing any fixes, as the event will end soon... overall, I think the shrub system needs a full overhaul if it's ever coming back. I really dislike what it became :/
I've been awaken for long and I'm starting not to make sense, ugh.
I support this 100%.
It would have been nice to have been told not to grant more than 1 wish per day.
I too granted a bunch of wishes and spent over 60 million so I could earn the achievement. It's not fair that I can't wish anymore unless I grant another wish. I spent a ton of sP. :|
I feel like those who granted a ton of wishes to get the achievement are being punished. :(
