It doesn't say anywhere that you would have to grant a wish the at the same day. Is it supposed to work that way?

Pretty much, yes. I granted 10 wishes the first day and still have to grant one every subsequent day before being able to make a wish.

you only get a single wish carried over to the next day regardless of how many wishes you may have granted.

That could have been more clear in the description... Especially since it seemed to work fine yesterday. I guess I was just lucky then, that I got one of the random exceptions from that rule. The exceptions are kind of strange. Some people have to grant wishes (which is rarely cheap), others don't. Both get an achievement for having their wishes granted.

I filed a ticket about this asking for it to be made clear and they still haven't replied so I'm assuming they are having fun watching us waste sP =/

Happy and annoyed at the same time that I'm not the only one who did this, wish they'd do something about it.

Basically people have a "free" wish whenever they catch the pool with less than 150 wishes in! (the max amount it takes) After that, we must take one out (granting) to be able to put one in... except we're only allowed to wish once per day. If you don't use up your wish after granting one, apparently you can take it over to the next day, but that's the only situation it happens.

I totally thought like that in the beggining as well, but clearing more spots (aka granting more than one wish) on that same day doesn't help you (besides getting the achievement) nor grants you the "right"** to make "free" wishes on the next days, unfortunately! It only opens up more slots on the pool so other people can wish for free x:

: No, you and I aren't the only ones. People who grant wishes should at least have a secure slot in that pool of 150 - as far as I understand you can grant as many wishes as you want but still may not be able to make a wish (if all slots of that pool are taken).

You do, if you granted the wish that day. One also carries over, if you were to grant two wishes in one day but I think that only happens if you haven't used your wish that day. But if you grant a wish today, you will 100% guaranteed have a wish available for you today.

If you granted 10 wishes on the first day, you got a wish that day and maybe the next day, but that's all you get out of those 10.

Darn it, I wish I would have known this yesterday. I figured I'd just get all my granting out of the way at once... >.> Now I'm broke and have no wishes today pooo.
