My last attempt to start a game was buried pretty quickly, I'll try again 'cause I've had a lot of fun with this sort of game on other forums.

Here's the basics: there's a hill, whoever stands on the top is the current king (or queen, or whatever title you like best). You describe the way in which you take over the hill from the previous person, and end the post by proclaiming yourself king (etc.) of the hill. Feel free to get very clever. Brute force and gory descriptions, creative superpowers, catching people on specific wording, pretty much anything goes.

Specific rules: try and limit yourself to a reasonably-sized paragraph. Please don't insult people (unless it's pythonesque insults that aren't meant to be taken seriously), even if they've just crushed your defenses with a few well placed words. And don't give yourself total invincibility, that's no fun (but general resilience or immunity to a particular kind of attack are fine).

So here's mine: I'm walking along and I see a hill. I notice a nice shady tree on top so I clamber up and sit under it. I lean back on my arms and yell: "I'M QUEEN OF THE HILL!"
