I've always thought watching porn was bad but I actually stopped using it for pleasure almost a whole year ago. But now my imagination isn't enough. Should I just watch porn or do something else? u_u

Have you tried reading erotica? many types and you can use imagination as well as get into the story rather than have a visual of what it looks like all the time.

Well it's all typically free if you have an ereader. On my Nook I just type in erotica, under nook books and then hit low to high on the price, I have an easy 30 books in erotica alone. I use the term book loosely as most are under 30 pages and written with one direct purpose in mind, but there's also sampler styles of these books where they span from regular to fetish to harder stuff. I personally like erotica because they give such loose details it's easy to picture myself in these situations or easy to imagine what these people look like, but get vivid enough to get things going?

So trying out samplers might gear you to what you like reading as a whole from situations to the writing styles. There's people who get your attention right away with the story, others that just go to the boom naked, some that pace the action, some intertwine love stories... I can pm you a list I have enjoyed if you have a nook or ability to get the nook app. Otherwise if I give you a list you might hope you can read it free on the webpage (a barnesandnoble.com account is free btw) of the device you use.

Do keep in mind 90% of the free stuff you find to read will have errors and for me if it doesn't make sense I'll drop the book and grab a new one. If it makes sense enough then I keep it. Some of the stuff is also a sampler to hook you onto that writer too, an attempt to sell you more books, but with so many for free you can always note the writer and look them up as some rotates when they provide a free title.

I like to look up fan fiction of my favorite actor and character pairings. I prefer reading the "mature" stuff, partly because I write mature stuff myself. (Specifically, I write M/M romance and I don't shy away from love scenes. I wouldn't call it erotica though as the main percentage of any of my stories focuses on less... intimate... interactions. LOL) I either do a Google search or I go to Fan Fiction and Archive of Our Own. I think most of the stories on either site are short stories. I tend to visit those two sites when I want a break from Subeta/TV/real life or am looking for inspiration, so that's an aspect I don't mind. I've also noticed that some/many writers will just use the character names and write a completely new story or a story that barely references the original story. -shrugs- Stories can sometimes poorly written, but the best thing about both is that they are free and you can read stories of all kinds with signing up or signing in. I make sure to bookmark the stories I like so that I can go back later to read them again or look up the author to see if they have written any other stories.

I don't know if either of those sites will help provide inspiration but I thought I'd mention them as another option.

Well there's always Literotica. It's been around for a long time so there's tons of stories to read. A lot of crap, but if you go by the top lists you should find something you like. There's also various "subreddits" on reddit that you could check out, like gonewildaudio if you're into that. It's people voice-acting scripts, so it helps with imagining different situations. Everything's tagged too so it's easy to find the stuff you're into.

There's nothing wrong with porn, though. If you like it, watch it. If someone tells you there's something wrong with it, just ignore them. It's natural for people to enjoy porn.

I've read some fanfictions when there are any pairings I like, so I read stuff that's mature/not, but I've practically read them all. I'll check out the other site.

thanks, I just feel like most porn doesn't seem to be appealing to me so it's a lot of work finding that 10% or whatnot that I like.
