Okay so I know there's probably a lot going on behind the scenes with Peka-Boo that staff hasn't dealt with yet, and I know they've had their hands full figuring out attempts to balance the Wishing Shrub to make it more reasonable, but why is it that every single Bugs/Problems thread created about Peka-Boo seems to be being neglected by staff?

I just perused the top 5 or 6, and most were questions that in the end, the user would find out if they participated/interacted more with people from the event (like why can't I make a wish, etc.). However, it also looks like no one was -there- to help if something big did/was happening, rather than staff being too busy and hoping other users would handle it.

I say this not to further my own cause, but because what happened to me that I've posted about is silently happening to other users and we would really like an explanation, but it feels like it's being unnoticed and is kind of a big deal if it happens to someone who is going out of their way to be generous with a Wishing Shrub gift.

This Thread explains, but basically you're told your gift is claimed, and that claim no longer applies after you buy the gift (within the time limit of course) and return to the Shrub - meaning someone else has taken the claim for the gift you just purchased for someone, possibly for a lot of Subeta-dough. For me, it wasn't too much (I was just trying to let someone know in case someone spending more ended up in this situation), but now others are slowly coming forward with the same problem.

This would be a HUGE issue on Subeta's hands if lots of people start having it (and it's not just me, because other users are stating it's happened to them), and it's a shame that this was posted, staff have been about since it was posted, and no one seems concerned? I'm over it for myself (I don't expect anything back, merely was trying to help the Shrub be a success), but I would not expect someone who spent a good chunk of cash to "let it go", or if this minority of users with the issue becomes a majority.

Like I get that staff is busy, I get that the shrub is part of an event for like ten days, but if there's kind of a gaping hole here in anticipated outcome versus actual outcome, regardless you might want to at least say you're looking into it before users become a little gunshy. Especially for achievement hunters, who want to visit as much as possible to get ensure they grant the needed number of wishes, if they get part way through and start having this, wouldn't it be bad if a code issue was responsible for their inability to complete the achievement, not their own actions?

I know this is a bit of a rant, and I don't dismiss that staff is doing hard work and definitely listening to users (as evidenced by last night's achievement release), but when you introduce new code, it might be a good idea to at least keep one eye on bugs/problems - even if it seems like most of them are just user's not understanding the event rules yet, you never know when something might crop up that isn't, and users appreciate at least hearing that you're looking into it...or that you're aware of it at all :)

We have very few programmers, and the one that is assigned to the wishing shrub was having her day off yesterday! She'll be working this evening, and at that point we have a lovely little list of things for her to work on! This one is definitely on the list :)

I'm sorry that this has been a problem for you guys!

thank you for the information - I'll relay it to those who have expressed concern on my Bugs board if they haven't seen or heard it already ^-^ I knew you guys were busy, I just felt so bad for everyone who had spent a bunch of sP and had this problem that I wanted to try and flag down someone's attention, since we weren't sure if anyone knew about it yet due to no staff response!

Hopefully the shrub programmer isn't too overwhelmed ;n;
