Hey everyone! So, I recently got a wig, wich is made from natural hair. I'm using it pretty much all the time, 'cause I don't have hair, so I really need to take care of it ;w;
Do any of you know how to treat one? I mean, any tips? I brushed it the other day and some of th hair fell apart, so I'm a bit scared about that. And would it be recommended to dye it? It's a bit darker than my hair, so I was wondering if this is possible, or recommend it? D:
Well, thanks!

Ooh, wigs, I love wigs x)
I've never had a real hair wig, but I imagine some of the things that you do with a synthetic wig can apply in some cases to a real hair wig.
With the hair loss, that is pretty typical with new synthetic wigs. When I first get my wigs, they usually shed like crazy when I first take them out then wear them. Then after a few wears, they hardly shed. Considering the fact that this is a real hair wig, and probably higher quality, I am sure that yours will stop shedding soon.
As far as dyeing it goes, I have read that you can, but risk ruining the softness of it. I would recommend taking it to a hair professional and see what they suggest and letting them do it.
Good luck with your wig :)
This one literally saved me, and I love it 8D
Oh! I see, that's releaving ;w;... I've been with it for a month though 8'D
And I see! Then I'll take it somewhere to see what they think, I kind of want it the same color I had :_D
Thank you so much!

i work in a beauty store, so i'm going to tell you what they tell me: use wig shampoo to clean it; you can style it and you can dye it, but you can only darken or tint it, not lighten it. real hair is fortunately a bit more flexible than synthetic (which you can't use heat on or colour or you run the risk of burning/generally ruining it), though.
