So I was thinking how after the fest is over, what happens to our new lovely park?

If you guys have a plan no biggie, but I had a idea that might be cute and super fun!

What if it is used for a saturday market. One with fresh fruit and veggies for the season, food carts/stands, jams and such, and little crafts like scarves and jewelry, and yard plants/garden items. I think having a one day a week thing where it changes with the seasons like the MC would be really new!

Itd be even cooler if it was organic veg and such! Real misshapen veggies, heirloom tomatos, weird strawberries and carrots!

Plus, it could be closed in winter and be used for ice carving and snowman building or something in that time!

This is a really cute idea. I'm definitely in favor.

My pet Grapefruit and I would loooove a fruit stand, lol. And I think this could be a fun idea, with lots of sp sink potential and cute stuff, but I would really, really prefer it be something that's added to the bottom of the 'to-do' list.

Also really liked the idea of fruits and veg that are a little misshapen (unlike store bought fruit and veg that is specifically selected to look right) and eggs that still have a couple of feathers sticking on them (straight from the chicken). Organic/home grown foods ect. :D

Could even tie the spotlight into it possibly, (A tent for the best pet winners) so you can go and see the weeks winners all together / hall of fame so there is a link to the spotlight stuff on the man not just via the news feed?

I dunno, just throwing ideas out there hehehe :P I really would love to see something done with it!! ❤️ It was so much fun the other year when loads of the map places got re-vamped! :D

I don't like the idea of adding Pet Spotlight stuff, boy howdy do we not need anything to feed that drama.

I'd definitely like to see something small like a mini market happening in Peka Park every now and then, this idea sounds cute :3

I would be sad if the park went away, it's a nice spot. I'm sort of torn about the market. There's the farmers market in Veta, which could be evolved into more than it is currently. That seems more logical to me as a place to add organic foods/craft items/etc.

On the other hand - a public park can be used for a lot. Concerts/outdoor cinema (supposing they kept the stage it's easy to set up), markets, political rallies, private parties, celebrations, picnics, walks, or whatever else the weather permits.

It'd be nice to have some other features there. I like the idea of a Saturday market. That'd be cute.

Maybe something where you can take your pet for a walk/to play in the park once a day, and you have a chance of finding something while you're out there? Items unique to the park. Some RSable stuff. Increase your pet's happiness. Maybe you find a lost item and return to an NPC for a small reward?

I actually don't see any issue with revamping the Pet Spotlight a bit. It is a good point not to feed the drama, but the drama queens are just going to be like that anyway no matter what.

That market is only used for fireside though isnt it? Plus a farmers market can just be one stand. This would be set up with stands and stuff with allll different types of things. Plus it would only be open one day a week, with fresh made food/etc also.

Yeah I agree its not limited! Especially if some of the things like this are a one day thing. It could be used for easter egg hunts and stuff 8D

It would be nice if Peka Park was used for something else after Peka-Boo is over. Peka Park is a nice place, and it would be kind of sad if it was abandoned after the event is over. These are all great ideas for Peka Park! There should be lots of stands set up with different activities for the users to have fun. :D

Yeah, I'd rather have the farmer markets be used for something like a saturday market, because that area is heavily tied to sharing food and goods. It's heavily tied to Fireside folklore and all.

What's going to happen to Oatmeal? I got attached to that goat after feeding it so many complaints. I hope Oatmeal hangs around Peka Park, even after the festival is over.

I am loving all of these ideas! I'm with everyone else, the park needs to stay! Also, like Oatmeal needs a permanent home too and if all of this was going on at the park, he could stay there.
