Alright, so not too recently, the age-old "neck tie" items got revamped. And let's face it, those ties needed a revamp.

But one thing I noticed, is that they're now off-centre.

Take a look at some of these previews...

There's probably more, but basically, on dozens of items that the tie used to match up with, it's now completely off-center. Making is far less useful as an item...

But hey, I guess it matches the revamped shirts now..?

I doubt it'd be much work to, like... move it a few pixels to the right. But hey. that's just me.

You know, the tie isn't actually supposed to be centered. The HAs are in a 3/4 view, so the tie SHOULD be slightly off to the right side of the HA. A couple of the shirts you posted are super old and actually break the 3/4 rule and need their own updates.

And personally, I think it looks just fine on the trans-dimensional shirt, and the blue shit. It matches up completely with the lines and the buttons. If it was centered, it would look off, and actually be yet another item subeta has put out that doesn't match up to their own 3/4 rule that they enforce so heavily with CWs.

It's great that the ties got revamped, I was really happy, but I'm also irked that they indeed do not line up correctly with many shirts. Honestly I don't think it's the ties' fault though. The ties appear to be in pretty much 3/4ths view while some of the collars on the shirts just aren't.

I'm pretty sure the shirts ARE the problem. The ties definitely are in 3/4 view, but a whole heap load of clothing items, not just shirts, are dead center on HAs that aren't facing forward. It makes everything line up incorrectly and makes correct items look wrong.

I see two solutions to this.

First up, they change most shirt items to match the HA base.

Or, they move the ties to match the shirts.

Either way, at present the ties barely match to anything. And while it's great they got revamped and all, that's kind of a pain.

The solution is fixing the shirts, not breaking the ties

Whatever the solution, on all but the last two... it's enough to break one's brain. Consistency!

I love that the ties were revamped, but agree... something must be done about the shirts that don't fit on the avatar correctly and make the ties seem off.

They can't fix all of them to fit all those shirts, some are higher up in collar. I wish they could make the tie look more natural. The way I look at them none of them would match even if it was aligned, but that's just me.

This was the thing I was most upset about. I really hope that whoever drew those shirts can edit the collar of it a little so it works with the ties better... I just feel like the collar is way too far to the upper left (not the HA's left). I was so excited to use this combination but after I saw the alignment of the collar... :(

If you used the clip-on collars, wouldn't it look a bit better? I mean, the collars in the shirt itself are a lot smaller than most RL shirts I've seen.

It's really unfortunate how often the 3/4th view rule is overlooked. :(
