you know what i hate?? when vegetarians have a holier-than-thou attitude. (or you know, anyone for that matter :I) now i'm not talking about all vegetarians, obviously, just those "new" ones who were "educated" from some stupid PETA video, and get all insulted when you talk about eating meat. they try to covert you and shit, you know? i have a friend like that, and thank god she's not like that anymore. when she first decided to become a vegetarian she was all pissed at me for not trying to be one either. she tried showing me all those propaganda films from PETA about how KFC treats their chickens and i'm just like i don't care. it's seriously annoying to have someone tell you you're wrong or that you're evil for eating animals, DURR HURR HUMAN NATURE.

i like my meat, okay. :(

crazy vegetarianism (or peta i guess) stories here.

😘

I tried being a vegetarian for a while when I was 13. I'm an animal lover myself, but I couldn't take life without cheeseburgers. D:

I like my meat as well, but I find it a little ironic that the human stomach isn't actually meant to digest meat.

My favorite is hypocritical vegetarians. I knew (thank god it's past tense) this girl who was always ranting about how meat is murder and the like ,she also had this air of "i'm better than you" to her ,eventually I saw her kick a stray cat that rubbed up against her legs really hard and I stopped taking her seriously and started hating her. (I made sure the cat was okay and ended up finding an owner for it ,so happy ending for kitty)

Ugh, I know what you mean. I'm a vegetarian, but the preachy ones get a little too much for me sometimes. Now, I'm totally strict vegetarian (I don't even eat gelatin), but I don't shoev it down other people's throats, and don't say anything about it really unless it comes up somehow. We aren't all like that, thankfully. :x

This is horrifying.

I'm not Vegetarian, but my little sister is.

She's freakin' 8 (EIGHT) years old too!

I hate it when Vegetarians try to shove all the information about it down your throat and convert you like some people to with religion.

It's just....UHHHG!

I tried to go vegetarian when I was younger too, nothing for me. I need my burgers sometimes and I need my schnitzel :P In school I was called murderer because I eat meat from a small group of people.

They told me: Animals are alive, so if you eat meat you are an animal murder.

Then I asked them: What about plants? They grow, they are alive too. If you eat plants you are a murderer too. So what do you wanna eat now, dirt?

Then they stopped bitching around :P

I tried to be a vegetarian when I was younger, not because I think eating meat is inhumane, but because everyone was trying it. I don't understand the concept of converting others to become vegetarians, simply because it does not change anything regarding how many animals they slaughter, or how they treat/raise them.

If someone does not agree with eating meat, then that's all hunky-doree for them, but they should refrain from ripping the carnivorous individual's heads off.

If you don't think you sound ridiculous preaching your dissatisfaction to humans, then try going up to an animal that's dining on it's fleshy-dinner and scream "fuck you for eating that."

I'm sure you will reconsider. If not, then you can just keep on losing friends, lol. I'm not dissing the veggies here~

They use to do that at Warped Tour. They might still, I’m not sure since I haven’t gone recently but yeah I remember them doing just that. They passed out “free” music videos and then conned you into talking all about you shouldn’t eat meat and that it is bad for you. I hated it.

My older sister tried going vegan for a while, but that was just to see if the diet made her any healthier. Eventually she got bored of it and went back to eating meat and animal products. I like meat too much to go vegetarian, hehe. And being vegan is just too hard. Animals are great, I love 'em...well, most of them, I have a fear of spiders and a couple of other bugs and swans are evil to me and keep trying to steal my food. I would eat any meat as long as I didn't know the animal beforehand, otherwise I'd just feel bad. It's like that story I heard about a farmer who raised a cow who he was going to eat, he even called it Burger, and when the time came to kill it he couldn't do it just because he liked the cow too much. Blargh, I'm going a bit off topic.

Yes, the vegetarians you described are extremely annoying. They're usually PETA educated and shove their views down your throat and try to convert you. If I was allowed to punch someone in the face it'd be one of them.

What I don't like is when people try to convert their pets as well (i.e Dogs; can you c-a-r-n-i-v-o-r-e-s?).

And I know a girl who doesn't eat animal products what so ever and fucking tore my head off for drawing a stick-figure into my toast, which I was planning to eat but lost my appetite after eating some manky cornflakes, and then laminating it to preserve it because its now my 'lucky toast', and now some poor, starving person in Africa can't eat the bread that would probably have been chucked out anyway had I not taken it and planned to eat it.

>.< I also dislike the whole 'don't eat living matter' thing, and 'it's too cute to eat the lamb, I'mma just eat this poor chicken now 'cause it isn't as cute' (Which is essentially what I have been told by someone in class when we went to the farm last year on a school trip). Oh, and don't get me started on fish. :/

I mean, not all of them are bad and try to force it down your throat, but some of them... Just... Ugh.

oopsie daisy I guess I'm crazy ❤️tumblr ❤️

One of my friend's a vegetarian, and SOMETIMES she rants on about how KFC abuses their chickens, and tries to turn people vegetarian (but fails ;D)... So I just say to her,"I'm sorry Ruhbarb (nickname), but I like my KFC." :]

Oh and another of my friend's is a vegan, but she doesn't try to turn anyone into vegans. =]

Most of the people I know (the girls atleast) wanted to be become vegetarian for one of 2 reasons, to be thin and to lose weight. I wonder how many other people did it for the same reason...?

I was vegetarian for about a year when I was uh.. fourteen? Something like that. I love animals, sure, but I didn't go around preaching to people about it. I'm a picky eater and so I kinda sucked at being vegetarian. I wasn't eating healthy at all, and sometimes I'd get upset when my family would eat my favorite meats around me. Eventually I couldn't take it anymore and ate some ham (it was Easter, it was hard to resist). Obviously I wasn't cut out to be a vegetarian >__>

I can eat meat and still love animals, it's not like I'm going around killing peoples' pets and eating them. That's the way I look at it. I'm eating things that were raised specifically for the purpose of being eaten. They're animals that are in abundance on the planet, and I'll just not think about how they were killed.

PS PETA is so ridiculous I hate them fffff

i was a vegetarian from 6th grade to the 8th grade. i wasn't a preachy one, however. i stopped at the beginning of the 8th grade because i wasn't getting enough calories (let's face it, the only way you can get enough calories in boca burgers is if you load it with cheese and condiments). i started getting too thin and weak, so i decided that it wasn't worth it. the only meat that i eat now is deli turkey, though.

anyway, i hate it when certain people start bitching at others and calling them "animal murders", that's just idiotic.

Wow, way to generalize vegetarians. I have been a vegetarian for say, 4 years and I plan on being one for life. And guess what? I am 100% against animal cruelty! Wow! And guess what else? I COULD CARE LESS IF OTHER PEOPLE EAT MEAT. It's my OWN PERSONAL CHOICE.
