Instead of just being able to send a pet to anyone on your friends list, I'd like to see it implemented that the person first accepts the pet. This was mostly triggered by this topic, but it's occurred to me before.

Ugh, yes please? When I joined, a friend dumped a pet on me, I get that she was trying to be nice but she didn't ask and I would have rejected and explained later rather than holding onto the pet for over a year until I got rid of her and some others :P

I'm actually for this. Friend's list only is a good start, but a confirmation would be a great addition to avoid someone who turned out to not be a friend from taking advantage of the current setup.

Yeah, definite support. While I love pets, I wouldn't want to get a random one(or more) just because I had open pet slots at the time.

This definitely needs to be implemented and it should include the pet's name in the notification.

This is definitely something that should be implemented. It's not right that someone can dump their pets on another user without confirmation. :/

I noticed the page says you can't transfer the pet again for at least 30 days. Does this waiting period only apply to transfers? Or is it not possible to pound them either?

You can see people's pets on http://subeta.net/games/battle/stats.php?user= and you just type the username at the end. Pretty useful too for looking for accounts that are about to be cleared for inactivity.

I support this idear too. I think if someone don't want to poundet thair pets but gife them to an other user they must at least make good agreements with the other user. I think it's useless to put a pet to a "friend" other user if the user don't want this pet and it's also unpolite to to do this without permission.

If I get more free lodges it's not a matter of coure someone can dump thair unwanted pets at my account.

Only because pets I have coming in are ones I usually adopted and I know I won't be on for say a week to accept any transfers. I like how it is automated that way. But the idea of someone to randomly dump a pet on me is not.... wonderful. At least not on Subeta. I tend to be picky with names/stats/colors/creation dates. Either way, support.

If you don't want a pet, and haven't arranged to adopt one with your friend, then put it in the pound. It will find a loving home (just like Fabrissa has). I have adopted all my pets from the pound except the first one.

Yes that's true, but I have understand it take a mounth before you can poundet an unwanted pet from an other user. O_o And if I see before the mounth an other pet I can't take before I must wait to pound the unwanted one. The other pet I want and is in the pound can already taken in the meantime, you know?

That's also a reason I support the idear to confirmation before receiving a pet from a friend ;)

I didn't know that you had to wait for a month to abandon a gift pet. :0 So, I definitely agree that you need to confirm before before a pet is transferred to you!

Yeah this should totally be a thing. thank you for pointing me to this, it was something i hadn't known previously despite my time on this site. It probably wouldn't be too difficult to implement this onto the site, coding wise. Or it would be I don't know
