I got a gold account immediately after my hiatus. I remember that Gold accounts received a higher number of quests to do. Is that still correct? Because all quests I can only do 15 of. I remember the number being much higher.

Yes, you are doing more quests. Quests were revamped somewhat recently and now the basic number is 10, so with a GA that gets upped to 15. So don't worry, you're still getting that 50% more quests increase that was with a GA before. Battle Quests are still 20/30, though.

I used to find guides with good results on search engines. I'm not finding a guide on the new form of quests though.
