I'm creating a pet based on this character: Volk from Aero Fighters

I created him as a Demi just to snag the name, but I'm not sure what species he should be ultimately. I want him to be a canine because "Volk" is Russian for wolf. But which canine species? Demi, Kumos, Telenine, or Montre? Ultimately he will be either Storm or Glacier.

Here are my thoughts on each species: Demi: I like Demis and I love the glacier one. But all the other colors make it too friendly for this character. Telenine: I like the teeth and spines. But... honestly it's a little goofy looking. The Storm one makes me grin, and it's adorable, but again, I think it looks a bit friendly to suit Volk. Kumos: I honestly don't like Kumi all that much, but the moon over the eye makes a good reference to Volk's scars. The storm one suits him... except for how pink the markings are >_> Montre: Again, the markings look like his scars. I'm just not very familiar with Montres.

At the moment, I'm leaning towards the Glacier Demi, but I would love any suggestions or advice you can offer!
