Trying to become a zombie, so I took a look around, to see if I could figure out how. I got the injection from SAI, covered my avi, and went to the graveyard and started holding down F5 for 30 seconds.

Am I doing this right? Does it tell you when you've become infected with the real deal, and what happens then? Do you turn into a zombie immediately after that? I still keep getting the "SKITTERS NOT WANT TO SEE YOU" event, too... Is that just gonna keep happening until I'm a real zombie, or am I doing something wrong?

I know, that was a lot of questions..... Despite being a long-time member, I still don't know much about the events...

To get a disease, you need be clear - no SAI diseases or other Zombies diseases. All you have to do is wear one cardboard mask (I'm lending you my Skitters', it works faster) and go in the Shadowglen Graveyard main page and refresh there, once a time. Eventually, an Event will pop up with a little zombie Bobblehead. After that, you can check you disease with the Healer :)

To complete Kelzca post: keep the F5 key down for a minute in shadowglen, then go see the healer. It works most of the time.

Skitters will tell you that until you reach stage 6 of an infection. You can go to Riverside and visit the Healer, there you can see if your HA is infected or not. While refreshing at the GY you get a random event saying you are infected, though you might miss it while pressing F5 and since you are fully dressed you won't see the infection, that's why the healer shows it to you. It takes around 15 - 16 hours to get to the next stage of the infection, so you won't be a full zombie for some days ^^

Not quite right, you CAN get cross-infected while having the SAI infection, but not when you have another zombie infection xD I've seen some HAs with SAI and Zombie infection. But it doesn't work the other way around.

I had a tough time getting my first infection this year too, even without the sai infection XD

Well... 30sec to a minute xD There is really no set time. Just hold down the button and wait.

Actually, after I got rid of the SAI disease, I got infect pretty fast. That happened for the next two turns after I healed, than it took me a while again - so much that I decided to stick with the one I'm currently holding xD
