Actually pretty easy ^^ You go here, copy the url on top and give it to a friend. When they register and complete several tasks (earning 10 achievements, creating a pet, earn money, post on the forums ect.) you will get a referral point.

huh thats interesting, because i reffred three people and have gotten an item for doing that but no achivment.

I haven't referred anyone yet, but it could be that you have to go to the Prefs page, or maybe here to get the Achievement. If it's not one of these I'm sadly pretty clueless Dx

When you refer a person they have to make sure to put your UN in the refered by field upon joining, if they don't you won't get any points. Points are usually given after they play around and do a few things, like 20 minutes or so and make a pet play a game ect. Then to get the achievement click on the prefs tab. There you'll see the normal box that has UN, id # warnings ect, well if there is a number besides 0 in the refferals spot click it and you'll get the achievement and also get to see items you can 'buy' with those points or how many to try and earn for other items.

There's been an issue recently then with the achievement being given out. I have 4 referrals and a friend of mine has 5 and neither of us have gotten the achievement?

I think there's a post about that in Problems and Bugs, that's where an issue like that belongs anyway. Also, you're not supposed to post on threads that haven't been posted on in 3 months or more, for future reference.
