It's still too tall. You've also got 2 lines of text in your forumtext, which counts as part of the total height as well.

Can you give me an example of how big it should be then? Like give me something to compare it to?

I only asked for something to compare it to. It's not like I was going to blatantly leave it that big.

Why don't you just look at the size of your picture before adding it in? Your picture is 258x275px + 2 lines of text for 20px, so it should be within the limits as far as I can see

How do you tell that without uploading it and getting in trouble? I can't sit and count every little pixel.

If you copy the image link into your browser and view it, it should say at the top of your browser window, the name of the image and then the dimensions in parenthesis like "image name blah blah (250x250)" or you can right click the image and click "view image info" or whatever the equivelant is in your browser :)

I'm not being flippant or whatever. I was asking for help on making it smaller and got a warning anyway. I was trying to fix it and I got a warning like I was breaking the rules on purpose.

They're just verbal warnings, they don't count against your account, they're more reminders than anything else like "Your thing was over the limit, so we cleared it for you, don't do it again" only official warnings for serious rule breaking go against your account limit (:

Yes because the rules are so hard to follow. I find reading the text around the site, like the the place where you enter your signature, helps a lot. It's like a cheat sheet to the site!

Yeah I tried that. But it's still kind of hard. Because lots of people look like they have way more in their sig than they do.
