D: I don't think I'll ever be able to make level 7... it seems like the first few levels go really quick and then level 6 is murder. I'm worried I won't be able to advance in the plot because of it and my crappy laptop cursor and horrible hand-eye coordination don't help. .__.

Do you use a mouse for your laptop or are you using the touchpad? I am asking because I am on a laptop as well and I had no problem with getting to level 7 even though I had a headache from hell yesterday when I played it.

I think it'd help to focus on staying near the edges. It doesn't matter how many times you click; it only matters if one makes it off the screen. Also, if you can use an external mouse, that should help a bunch too.

I feel you, I still haven't been able to beat it. My touchpad seems a bit laggy and I tried it on my phone after some people had success with playing it on an ipod and that was actually worse.

Nothing to do but keep trying though.

My strategy was to just blindly slap around like crazy... and it actually did work the first time XD . Just don't look at the level and just slap those ugly bugs.

I also noted yesterday that if you have two bugs grouped closely together, one hit will take them both out. That helped me a lot up towards level 6 when I could take them out double time when they got near the edge of the screen. And just to second what said, it did really help me focusing more on the edge than the inside, once it began getting a bit more frantic, so maybe give that a stab? Good luck with it!

i did exactly what did, once i realized it was a miss when they go off screen... not when you miss swatting them. it took a few tries on my touchpad but it eventually worked out. just keep trying!

I'm using the touchpad. We don't have a mouse. Also, this computer is old. Like... so old that it is impossible to install the new versions of flash. I might just have to try it over and over again and pull my hair out. I have been clicking like crazy and I did notice that only if a bug goes offscreen does it count as a miss. Still... this is not the sort of thing my brain is set up for. Just frustrated. Baaaahhhhhhgh.

Any chance you could use a computer at school or at a library or something?

If you've been trying for a while and still can't get it, maybe take a break? That's what I've been doing and I get closer every time.

I just clicked like a stupid kid everywhere and as often as I can and I got it on first try (: just try that too, maybe it will help you a little bit ^__^

I sympathize so much. I had to go to a different computer because this one lags so much I literally wasn't fast enough.

I almost didn't make it through the game, but at level 5, I thought to myself "I have to make this because I hate it too much to fail." Just keep trying? I think I got lucky when I managed it - sometimes the bugs behave better than others. D:

omg, it's so hard to swat those things with a touchpad -_-; I managed after trying for a good two hours. What helped me in addition to the two bug swatting that mentioned was keeping my screen as clear as possible. As soon as a bug comes on screen swat it quickly. Also if you watch them long enough, you can basically tell when they're about to go off screen as they pause for a little bit.

Okay, I'm going to close EVERYTHINGELSE and hopefully reduce the lag factor. If this doesn't work I'll go get my headphones and blare techno into my brain to try and get it to work faster.

Edit: Finally got it! I am so relieved I don't have to play that anymore. I'm not sure whether my hands are shaking from all the coffee I've been drinking or from nerves from the game... I think a combo.

If you can manage, try doing it in Chrome. My firefox lagged when I swatted, but Chrome didn't. However, Chrome had a huge (HUGE) black square where my mouse was, but that wasn't too bad of an issue.

Freaking hate this game. I got it on my first try with Chrome, thank God. Good luck to you, I hope you make it.

Congrats on finally getting it. Level 6 is RIDICULOUS. I make it to that level each time with no escaped bugs and then just LOSE IT. I have zero hand-eye coordination. grrrr.

I'm in the "I need to take a break before I TOSS my laptop" portion of the afternoon. But this will be the first plot I've actually participated in here on Subeta, so I'm going to finish. I MUST WIN.

Yeah, it might be good to take a break, but it's always worth it to participate in the plots as much as you can... the rewards tend to be pretty good. I bet after a breather and maybe a slushie or something (mmmm slushies) you'll be able to get it. The time I got it was after I took a break, anyway.

Now I want a slushie. LOL. mmmm lime slushie.
