So I hope this is the right forum. My questions don't seem to fit anywhere else? :)

Coda Caves. I am considering turning a pet Galactic and I know it's only during the 6th and 7th of the month but my question is, does the pet need to be my active pet at the time of starting, doing, and completing the quest?

Nostalgic Pets. I'm also thinking about changing a pet nostalgic. I know the basics. I need instructions first then I have to look for what he asks me for, basic quest stuff. What I don't know is, does my pet have to be the active pet and does my pet have to already be the species that I want it to be? I'm assuming I don't since the instructions I have to buy indicate species but I would hate to mess up.

The Brewery. What kind of beers is he wanting?

Lounge Trinkets. How do I go about getting them aside from user shops.

not sure what you mean by the brewery. Are you talking about Spring Street? The Secluded Shrine? The Alchove that's Underground in zombie town portion of Shadowglen?

Lounge Trinkets are part of a holiday in April, the Atebus Revolution Masquerade. You get them for free by dancing with other users. This holiday is over for this year, so right now only buy them from users.

on March 9th of this year, UA told me this (quoting from my Help Ticket):

"To my knowledge quests are not suppose to be available to do except for on the 6th & 7th of the month, and why there is not a link to the quests at the Coda Caves except for on those days.

So it is likely an error that the quest page is accessible using the direct URL and why I'm having the programmers look into it."

It's been a few months, so if it's still possible to do this by following the link maybe they've changed their mind? Anyhoo, it's illegal to do this, last I heard.

I have a follow up question about the Coda Caves.

The FAQ thread says ".....Then you can go back to the Coda Caves and dig for the gems (you can dig for one gem every hour), or you can buy the gems from other user's shops, but they can be a bit pricey."

What are the names of the gems? I remember gems called Blue Gem, Black Gem and Dream Gem (and other colours)... They looked like the gem in the Coda Cave dashboard add-on, but I can't find them anymore on here or on SubetaLodge. Is the option to buy/sell gems not available anymore or have the names just changed?

Also what happens if I don't dig up the gems I need during the 6th and 7th? I wouldn't think this was a big idea but like I said, I can't find any sort of gem which makes me think I couldn't save my gems in my vault.

You are worrying too much for starters! Any and all the gems you need are easily dug up on those 2 days. It is not difficult at all to get them very quickly. I honestly dont recall if your pet has to be the active one in order to change it, but I think you should err on the safe side and make sure your intended IS the active or you might get a nasty surprise. And as for pricey, they are NOT. Making your pet galactic is the easiest and cheapest of all the colors. Go play and have fun...

It's not so much worry as confusion. It's been a few years since I've been fully engaged on here and a few things have changed and the Coda Caves and gems seem to be one of them. I used to dig and save gems all the time but never changed a pet Galactic before.

Now it seems different and I am getting confused with the information I can find. Like the FAQ says you can buy the gems from other users and a fansite says the same and to have some gem's on hand before starting the quest, then lists the gem colours, though I can't find any of them in a shop search.

I am just confused by this info I'm reading.

I think it's fair to say the Coda Cave quest has changed, I just don't know where to find the correct info is all.

The gems are now called (color) Coda Caves Crystal. Example: [item2=Green Coda Caves Crystal]

Not sure about changing a pet. It's been years since I've done it, probably shortly after it was released, and I'm sure it's different now. But I'm pretty sure you won't know which colors you need until after you start the quest, so I wouldn't bother stocking up beforehand. The crystals are cheap enough.

Makes sense now why someone told me not to waste a Loyalty Box on making a pet Galactic. That would have been a doozy.
