I found some nail polish at the dollar store I thought looked cool and it looks good on the nails. But the problem is it separates very quickly. The color sinks to the bottom and the liquid sits on top. It takes a LOT of shaking to get them mixed again but once it is it seems to work fine.
Is there a trick to keep it from separating so much? I know all polish needs to be shaken once in awhile but I don't think it's supposed to be this much this often.
I think it is just the "curse" of cheap nail polish, unfortunately. :-| I've mixed mine with some more expensive nail polish and it helped. But I'm not sure mixing polish is a very good idea. So I just shake it up when I use it and as long as it looks good on my toes, I try not to mind. :)

My friend keeps hers in the fridge and swears it works wonders! I'm yet to try it, but maybe it will work for you :].
It's just that there are some colors I think my friend would like but I don't want her to have to deal with it or think I'm cheap.
I've heard mixed reviews about that. Some say it's a miracle cure and others say it's a myth.
From experience. keep shaking the bottle. :( Sorry doll.
Is there a way to make it mix better/faster?
my fav nail polish is china glaze. it's cheap and looks great. and doesn't chip easy. you can get some online on ebay for 10 $ for a set of 12.
I don't know if this will help or not, but I found this link, .

Nail polish thinner? Wouldn't that make it worse? Is it the same as remover?
I'm guessing it is to make the part that settles less heavy so it blends better with the oily part. I have never tried it (just shook mine wildly all the time like you've been doing) but thought it might be worth trying to see?

I wonder if thinner and remover are the same thing. I have plenty of remover.
I'm thinking it isn't. I think remover actually breaks it apart, vs just making it less thick. I wonder if google has any good descriptions. I can check later on, if you don't find anything!
