I really like my deer skin, but I kind of want to cure it, because I am actually a zombie underneath it, and I think it'd be appropriate for halloween/morostide.

I'm a little reluctant because I don't know if the zapper skins will be available again or if I could get a zapper overlay again, being a zombie (I thought last time it was a mistake).

So if I cure my deer skin, will I be able to get it again even though I'm a zombie?

I guess you'll only able to get it back when the zapper is offering it again at Morostide :/ (Personally I have the same "problem" - I came to the conclusion to wait until Morostide is here and hope for a better zapper skin)

I'm pretty sure you're able to get a zapper skin while a zombie and it's not a mistake. However whether or not to cure is up to you, I would assume the zapper skins are coming back but really no one knows for sure.

I regret curing mine back in February, just to show off my zombie-ness. Now, I keep covering it up anyways. If the skins make a come-back I'll probably get the deer skin again, unless there's something else I like better. Don't be a Zay and regret zapping lol.

The very first year the zapper skins were introduced it was a mistake for zombies to be able to zap, I can't remember the thread off-hand, but I believe said it was a mistake. I believe he didn't want there to be an easy way to disguise our zombie infections, but so far we've been able to anyways.

Ah, I wasn't around back then. But I've seen multiple times that people had zombie skins under zapper skins so I assume if it really was a mistake it would have been fixed by now if they were going to.

I personally don't think you should change it. I think you can use the deerskin and still do a good halloween theme. Just my opinion though of course. ^_^

Keep it until Morostide. If zombies can still zap, you can just cure then. :)

I also think that you should keep it until it's known that the old zapper skins are still available since we can't be sure that even if there will be zapping this year you will be able to get this one back.
