Very sorry to see the GreaseMonkey and both Grimdark Subeautique lines retired so soon as I haven't had a chance to get all the pieces of either - normally I do have all the pieces before a line retires. It does seem that there there are others older still offered.

These particular sets were listed as Limited Edition and would only be out for a few months..

Subeautique has three slick new lines out (one is just a bit slicker than the others)! They won't be around for more than a few months, so you should nab anything you want sooner rather than later.

When they were released it did say they would be out for a limited time only.

Though with the normal amount of time subq sets are out, a year at least, I did figure these would be out at least 4 months to about 6 months at the longer end. So I am a bit disappointed they weren't out another month, even if I did get all the items I know many others did not.

Limited edition. As in "get it before it goes", just like the SDCC tickets get sold out after not even 3 mins.

I'm okay with them retiring. I'd be angrier if they hadn't said that they aren't limited edition in the first place. I am actually surprised that both sets were not retired earlier.

I totally get the whole limited edition thing. No qualms there. Where I get irritated when we get a nice notification for the regular sets that have been sitting in Subeautique for almost a year and a half.

Then after a bunch of people mention over and over the want the sets retired, bam they are gone.

It just looks like oh whoops those are still there? Just because something says Limit ess d Edition doesn't mean you shouldn't announce a clear date, or give a warning.

I think it was also just shocking that they were retired the day after another retirement. I haven't really played much so I don't know exactly how the retirements work, but they just retired 6 lines in a matter of days and it seems like what is currently in SubQ is a few lines. I really hope with this wave of retirements that means a new line or two will be introduced soon, but again I don't know how it all works yet.

this (save for the typo of course :P) idk why people keep saying "it was limited edition, get over it." sure it's limited, but a warning could have made us a lot less grumpy.

They did mention when they first came out they were limited ed so it's not surprising they just went without notice. A bit of notice would've been nice, a day or two, but oh well...
