i'm trying to upload a forum image for the first time, and i'm having some difficulties. i'm attempting to upload a right-aligned, 68x324 image of 23 kb, and whenever i click "set preferences" i get the error "Oh no, that isn't a valid image!" when it certainly is?? i tried to upload a resized version of the dimensions 66x316, but i'm still getting the same error. so uh i'm not entirely sure what i'm doing wrong here?

i looked through the problems & bugs forum (as well as this one) to see if there were similar threads/a solution, but found none. honestly i'd really like to know if i'm the only one encountering this issue, but ofc also if someone can tell me what i'm doing wrong here lol.

thanks in advance!!

I just added an image and had no problems. Which image site are you using? I know some sites add a bunch of stuff to the "address" of the image and that may be what is causing the problem?

Right now, the best place to host any image you want to use on site is called imgur, it's free and really quite good from what little I've used it. You have to use the direct link though (the one that's relatively small and ends in the file extension) in the little box.

lol okay so i feel pretty silly right now the image was hosted on imgur (which i agree it is a really nice site), but i realized that i was actually using the regular link rather than the actual link omfg. this is literally the second time this has happened lmao.

but thank you guys bunches for the help, i really appreciate it!!
