does anyone know if the Rainbow Mage Amulet is required to get the achievement? I was trying to find this out on my own, but the little 'Requires Items' window doesn't pop up for me (or my friends, apparently).

Yup, it is, and the achievements are broken right now. None of those windows pop up like they should but you can usually find the requirements either through Subetalodge, or I know there's one list on the forums somewhere that I think has all the Collections achievements on it.
