One or two of the Games that are action oriented might use Flash, but this site has been mostly PHP for the longest time and didn't have a Flash programmer and then people started using mobile devices so I wouldn't expect a lot of the site to need it.

Yes, many of the site's emoticons got changed over to emoji about three months ago. Emoji work in posts, but not in thread titles, while the old emoticons still (mostly) work. Not all of the emoji on the reference page linked to in the sCode Reference work here, though.

Under your commerce menu, there's a link to Main Shops. Or, you could go to the lands that specifically have a regional shop like the Icy Goods shop in Arctic Frost, and then mess with the shop number in the URL.

Profile editing is a pretty old part of the site and may not work with a mobile device. Other than that, I'm not good to answer questions like that: I purchased or was given all of my coding. Hopefully someone else who knows better will come along.

Oh, okay. I can probably do without the profile editing. I was just wondering what was up with it only affecting the widgets. Oh well.

As for the existing boxes you can do some editing, just click the pencil and it will come up with options for you to edit (if there are any).

You can use sCode in the boxes. Also you can add any number of blank boxes (I think I have 7 or 8), so you can minimize the coding you need.

Different widgets have different options. For most, you can only change the title, but others, like the Human Avatar allows you to display the clothes you're wearing, the Pet one also has some options - can't remember all the ones with options.

Also some information can be changed in preferences, like, Name, Gender, Last Seen.
