i was wondering do you have to be a gold member in order for your post to count for you to achieve the 100 posts to enter the blue building just wondering please help thank you.

Nope you can post anywhere and not have a gold account. Just some areas in the forums don't boost your post count. Usually in the User Run Games and the Introduction sections. Oh and the Event section when there's an event. Post counts do not go up in these areas.
