You could turn back to turn in the map completed so far for sP, right? However, the sP payout for this is so low, nobody in their right mind would actually turn in for the sP, so this feature is pointless... Also, why wouldn't we be able to turn in what was completed so far anyway when losing, since we'd still have the map on us when it ended?
My recommendation: Upon losing Krypts, you still get sP for the map based on how far you went. The amount is so low and the cooldown so long, it wouldn't break the Subeta economy, but it would help make Krypts more rewarding and playable if they still got a minor sP prize from Krypts upon losing.

makes sense. kinda like decanter of indestructibility. its totally random how far you get so you get more SP based on how far you get.
as long as the payout isn't lowered for those that do make it. i've yet to complete it once/get the achievement, but I hear it pays 10 mil?
False. It only pays out 50,000 to reach the end, along with a special item, although depending on which, I guess the item would be expensive. I've made it to the end before.
I honestly don't see it making much of a difference to me either way, but if it'd get other people to play crypts more often, and it'd get more of those crypts prizes into circulation I'm all for it.
It can pay out 10mil instead of an item, but when it does give you an item is correct you'd get 50k along with the item.
I guess is lying to me about his 10 mil payout, according to your claims of falsehood?
I haven't heard of a 10 mil payout, but someone else said it's also a possibility if you don't get an item, so...
Please don't pick a fight if that's what you're trying to do.
I didn't think my friend was lying to me about the payout, so I asked him to dig up the text:
You find a room that seems special, and soon spot a chest. You open it to find... There is nothing in the chest. You sadly make your way back to Blake and turn in your map to him. He cheerfully pays you 10,000,000 sP, which takes some of the sting out of not finding any cool treasure.
Before you ask me to not pick a fight with you, you might want to work on your forum wording/approach so it doesn't come off so snotty that you then have to tell me to not get bent at your rather unfriendly responses.
Technically Caligo is right though. The payout is 50k sp. You get x amount of sp for turning in your map per step and then you get 50k sp for turning in your map if you make it to the end. The 10mil sp is just instead of a prize and it's done by chance so it's not really the payout, it's the 'prize'.
Yeah the first two times I got to the end I received a frankencluck piece(and i assume 50k? I don't really remember. I was excited about the frankencluck). the third time I received this message:
You find a room that seems special, and soon spot a chest. You open it to find... There is nothing in the chest. You sadly make your way back to Blake and turn in your map to him. He cheerfully pays you 10,000,000 sP, which takes some of the sting out of not finding any cool treasure.

technically is wrong to say I'm false, I'm correct, it's one of two possible payouts (that we know of). I swear, people come on this forum with misinformation correcting others then telling them not to pick fights with others over it, is it just beyond people to say "I'm wrong" anymore? No, just barge in with incorrect info and tell the other person to not get mad at them for correcting them with false info.... shakes head
I already admitted I may be incorrect.
I repeat, please don't try to pick fights. Don't be immature, please. If you continue this behavior, I will block you and encourage others to do so if you attempt to harass them.
Well your first post said you hope the pay isn't lowered because from what you heard it pays out 10mil. Since 10mil is the prize (which I assume means that 10mil should be around the value of the other crypts prizes) and not the payout they wouldn't lower the 10mil prize if they changed the payout for losing. They might on the other hand lower or even take away the actual payout --if they give pay for losing-- which is 50k.
Personally, if they change the payout for losing I won't care if they take away the payout for winning because the payout is basically nothing to begin with.
Let's be sure to stay on topic and avoid personal attacks or I will lock this thread.
I don't really see a need to add a tiny amount of sP for failing (it just doesn't seem like something that would encourage me to try more often), I would love to see the "quit for X amount" of sP raised.
