My alternate universe take inspiration from England, as portrayed in movies and books. At far as the timeline is concerned, it doesn't derive from one particular time period. Instead, I take aspects of multiple time periods, from the middle ages to the Victorian era and the beginnings of the industrial revolution. The central plot is Robin Hood-esque, with greedy nobles and good men made outlaws. Haegan is the new king of the country, born illegitimately to the previous (power-hungry) king and never meant to reign. A plague had hit the nation though and it had other plans. Faryl is a deposed duke and the leader of the outlaw band. (In other words, he's my Robin Hood.)
The characters I need help with are:
Lorkan
Lorkan is Faryl's cousin and Galbraith's (eventual) significant other. He is the middle child in a large family. He is troublesome and quick-tempered, but he loves Faryl and obeys him mostly. He still manages to get caught up in a lot of fights with other men in Faryl's crew. More than once, he's had to visit Galbraith (who is the closest thing they have to a doctor) to get patched up.
He has been trained as a blacksmith and has some skills with alchemy. He is also skilled at using the pointy metal weapons he makes.... Swords, daggers, axes, the like.
Items needed: pointy metal weapons and rudimentary armor perhaps, things to represent injuries and things used to help them heal (like bandages and maybe balms), and blacksmith/alchemy items
Haegan
The king himself... Haegan was bullied by his older brothers, verbally and physically. He managed to convince his father to let him become a soldier and he set about learning how to fight. He's short and lithe. People are never intimidated by him upon first meeting, and he likes it that way. He has often got concealed weapons on his person though and has been trained to use his small frame to its best advantage in a fight.
Items needed: horse/carriage items, concealed weaponry or weapons small enough to be concealed, and some ostentatious purple/green/gold clothing for when he plays the part of the dandy king
These characters are highly developed off-line but I'm just starting to figure out how I wanted them represented on here... Any help would be great. Thanks!
