I need a bit of help... A couple of cops friends got married recently and I want to make them a picture frame. The majority of it is polymer clay, but I really wanted it to have flashing lights at the top... The only problem is I know NOTHING about circuits. So I was wondering if I could get some help... I've googled and googled but to no avail. Basically, I want it to have 4 lights, flashing at intervals (like, a red and blue go on and off and then the red and blue next to it goes on and off and it goes in a back and forth pattern like that). Battery operated and with an on/off switch too. I haven't been able to find anything that specific and I can't figure it out enough to rig it up on my own. So I was wondering if some one out there might know a thing or 2 about circuits and just what I need for this project...
The only thing I can think of is if you bought a couple of kids' police car toys and took them apart. Or you could go to your local library and ask someone there if they have a book on simple electrical builds. Another option might be to go to your local hardware store, like a Lowe's or Home Depot, and go the electrical department and explain to someone there what you're trying to do and they'd probably be able to help.
Hmm! I didn't think of that! Thanks , I'll do that as soon as I get paid again :)
