Okay, well not quite but if this FDA "ruling" keeps going the way it's headed it it will be. Can you imagine what will happen when France and Italy hear about this?!
If this isn't worthy I don't know what is. We've only been making cheese for a little over 5000 years... and, y'know, eating the cheese aged this way for centuries. I mean, it's not like the bacteria give the cheese it's flavor or anything...
