I'm thinking a canine, more specifically a type of fox, but I'm just wondering as to the kind. I'm kinda thinking Arctic, but I could be way off.

I'm also wondering if it may not be a marble fox...
I have no clue but would really love to know specifics (if there are any)

Torrey's always reminded me of squirrels due to the bushy tail
I never thought about it before, but the Torrey does have a rather fox-like build.
I am gonna say a fox-bat meets squirrel.

I think their snouts are too narrow even for fox, and their ears are rodenty. I have been supposing that they are a tiny fluffytailed flying shrew, and that they are much much smaller than most subetapets. I inferred this both from the size of RL shrews, but also that is how come those rather inadequate looking wings can do their job-they are fluttering zippity fast at hummingbird/shrew metabolic rate.
