I received an email from UGC stating they will no longer be selling those cards after August. If we do not use credit cards, then how shall we pay for items in the cash shop?

I am... unsure. I think within the US Paypal offers payment systems that don't require a CC? Also, PayByCash may offer other payment options that don't require CCs as well, but I can't really tell because I'm overseas (and I think it depends on the country; for me, they do offer bank payments) :c

Edit: Oh, like Arkham said, prepaid cards seem a fantastic idea if you can get them XD -wanted to have them here- ^^

You can buy pre-paid Visa gift cards instead. That's how I pay for my csc, since I don't have a credit card.

In case you've never bought one, here's a quick explanation: You can buy them at most gift card stations, probably the same place you were buying the UGCs at. The lowest amount you can purchase is $25 though. After you buy it, you can use it anywhere that takes Visa just like a real debit card, including on Subeta! You'll just have to use the Stripe payment button instead, and enter all the details of the card. (:

Are they discontinuing the cards as in physical cards you buy in stores? Do you know if you can still buy them online from the UGC web site?

Damnit.. I completely rely on UGC's as I no longer own a credit card! That sucks to know they're discontinuing them. :( I'll have to stock up before they run out. As for pre-paid Visa's I think they're kind of a rip off since you have to pay an activation fee.

RETIREMENT DETAILS After seven years of having fun helping gamers pay online for virtual currency in their favorite games, Ultimate Game Card (UGC) will be retiring later this year. Ultimate Game Cards are in the process of being pulled from all retail stores and removed from online resellers. Consumers will no longer be able to buy Ultimate Game Cards after August 15th, 2014.

The last day to redeem your activated UGC codes will be September 30, 2014. So please remember to redeem your UGC codes before that date.

Related to the UGC product retirement, UltimatePoints (UPoints) will also be shut down. The last day to redeem your UPoints will be October 31, 2014.

Please note that some games might stop accepting Ultimate Game Cards and UPoints before the retirement dates so be sure to redeem your cards and points sooner rather than later!

Thank you so much for that. That's rather sad. ^_^ I will make a point to stop buying now :)
