Ehh I hope the title fit and didn't get cut off.

On one of my pet profiles I have a downwards sliding tab (you hover on it and the box expands downwards to reveal the information; just like the hover under the human avatar on the forums). The box is long enough to contain the information, but for some reason, while it's transitioning, it gains an unnecessary scrollbar, which it then removes once the box is fully expanded.

Is there a way to prevent the scrollbar from appearing at all? Is it just my computer/browser/whatever?

Here, I didn't want to link at first, because it has some gore (hidden by hovers) and I don't want to offend xD The sliding tab I speak of is located on the yellow folder image

You have overflow:auto on Change it to overflow:hidden
