I have a Darkmatter montre I like but can't think of anything to do with. I could color her different but I'd hate to see a Darkmatter pet go to waste. I know there's a "gift" option and I see people giving up pets on the sb sometimes but how do you go about it? Just post "I have this pet for adoption" and first come first serve?

Many people post on the Adoption Center boards. You can lurk there to see current adopting out trends (and/or check out the rules here). My impression is that people either create boards specific to their pet, or keep their eyes on "seeking" boards for people who are hoping to adopt a pet similar to yours. Hope that helps! (:

Also when you make an adoption board you can do it as either first come first to take home or ask for an application where they show you ideas or reasons why they should get to adopt the pet.

I'm not sure I should do that. I adopted the montre on a whim and now I don't know what to do with her.

Some people even though a pet is from the pound sometimes want a small reason why a person wants a pet. Others don't care and the pet goes to the first person who tends to have space. It is all up to the person adopting the pet out really.

I might want to ask them if they plan on keeping her DM. If not then I might not give her to them. Liek I said, I haven't changed her color myself because I hate to see such an expensive color go to waste. I mean, if they change her a year or two down the line I guess it's ok but I don't want them to change her when montres are a dime a dozen but DM potions are sold for millions. Get what I'm saying?
