So my friend wanted to read my story and I warned her about triggers and stuff. Well she flipped over how my character's reaction to someone dying as extremely cold. I wrote it like I would react to someone dying that I didn't like and now she says she not wanna be my friend. I feel bad as and I didn't think everyone did the crying stuff when someone dead especially if it was someone they not like. What have I done? I feel horrible person now because I didn't cry when some people died because they had treated me badly. ;-;

Well.... crying when someone dies is a form of grieving. Some people who care a lot for someone still won't cry when a loved one dies, because that just isn't how it works for them. If someone treated you badly, then why would you be grieving for them? If you didn't like them, you aren't going to miss them. They died, it sucks, but it doesn't mean much to you. It's like when you hear about a death in the news. It's sad for the person, but you aren't going to burst into tears. No, you aren't a terrible person. She doesn't want to be your friend because you won't miss someone you didn't like? Well, I suppose thats sad, considering she has a problem with your feelings. In my opinion, I would make sure that she understood the section of the story, and if she still had a problem, try to talk to her and find out why it bothers her so much or something.
