ah yes.
Alana is back (oh noessss) :( but Laura is too (she should have won in my opinion) There are quite a few "vets" who I don't recognize :(
What kind of challenges are you hoping for this season?
[Item=Pink Bellflowers]
ah yes! i can't wait for it to be back! love the show~ i'm looking forward to seeing some of the people back, and also looking forward to also see what some of these rookies can do!

What kind of challenges are you hoping for this season?
[Item=Pink Bellflowers]
Not sure, maybe they will do a Tim Burton type style challenge again! oh or a Star Wars one, and I really liked the challenge when they had to bring to life the drawings of monsters from some kids...
yeah i'm glad Laura is back as well! :D

- last season, if I remember correctly there weren't any challenges for realistic makeup (besides all that gore). Doing realistic makeups is one of the hardest makeups to get correctly, and yes there were some truly horrible disasters in season 1. But it is a challenge that really tests the artists' skills and is practical in the field.
I was thinking, as for topics - mythological gods - Egyptian, Greek/Roman, Norse, Aztec, etc. There's some crazy stuff and stories going on there. XD
I really liked the time passage makeup they did, i.e aging them 20-40 years
[Item=Pink Bellflowers]
oh yes i remember that one, that was a really good, hopefully they do that one again as well :)

Am I the only one who thinks it's really unfair that brand new people with basically no idea what they're in for are being pitted against people who know what to expect and know what the judges are looking for? Also, Frank's back... really? The only thing worse than that might be Joe :P
Otherwise, totally psyched ;)
FACEOFF PREMIERES TONIGHT! Remember to use spoiler tags when discussing tonight's episode, and remember to join !

How much of an advantage do you think that the people who have been on it before have? I haven't gotten the chance to watch it yet, but have there been any signs that the people coming back are more familiar with the judges' tastes?
Thoughts on the season so far? I really liked the Frankenstein one
[Item=Pink Bellflowers]
I haven't even had a chance to watch this season.
I've loved this season so far. Every challenge has interested me so far.
I loved Adolfo and Lyma's Humpty Dumpty last night. It was a beautiful interpretation. The Frankenstein challenge was great too, and my favorite from that challenge was Alana and Laney's creation. I actually might be going to Halloween Horror Nights this year, so I'm excited to see their characters there!
I'm still mad about vets v. rookies :P Notice how ALL the rookies are going home first and how ONLY vets have won? (not top looks mind you, but winning) Yeah, 'cause they have no idea what they're getting themselves into! :K
Otherwise it's been great! ^_^ Some of the challenges have been fun, for sure, but they need to stop thinking so dark. Granted lots of makeup is intense and scary, but it can easily be fun and lighthearted, but most of the challenges involve witches/demons/monsters/etc. and I don't think they have to be silly, so they're so used to going scary...
