First and foremost, welcome!

Secondly, I'd suggest starting with some quests, particularly Wizard and Sarah's. They're great for new players and give out decent rewards, especially if you happen upon the Weekend Quest thing, then the Wizard gives out even better items.

Thirdly, if you have the want and desire to, training one pet specifically is incredibly beneficial. You'll be able to battle and participate in battle-oriented plots (or at least help make a dent. You'll get brownie points for trying in most cases.)

Fourth, if you happen to be an artist, the custom wears market might be a good place to start looking into for making sP or CSC. In such a case, SAI and Photoshop are acceptable mediums.

If you have any other questions, feel free to ping me or drop me a comment. c: I hope something here helped.

Thank you so much!

Where or how do you train your pet? What are the best ways to go about it?

I am somewhat of an artist, but I know longer have Photoshop. :/ What is the custom wears market?

Sorry for so many questions. (:

Hey, you've got questions, hopefully, I've got answers and if not, we can both learn together. c:

You train your pets here. Located in Veta Lake, looks like the big obstacle course towards the upper left. Keep in mind that it'll start charging you more sP once you break level 100. Autotraining can be the best way to do it when you start, but you'll eventually start having better luck just grinding it out yourself.

Custom clothes. FAQ on it. Tumblr also has a myriad of tutorials on how to make them.

Definitely training. Even if you have no interest in battling. It takes a long time to get good stats and if you ever do become interested in battling, and you haven't trained from the beginning, you'll likely get impatient and give up on it. Also as said, there are plots and events that involve some battling and you'll appreciate having a trained pet even if that's the only time you battle. I'm not much of battler, but I started training one of my pets almost from day one and I'm really glad I did that.

Read the forums. Read other people's questions - even if you can't help them, you can find out a lot of tips and hints about playing on the site.

As for the rest, explore. Check all the map areas, click on things. There are bunches of little things around the site that cost you nothing, like playing the game random, or the Donation Bin, that can start you on the way to accumulating funds and items you can sell to get the stuff you want.

While you explore, find out what you enjoy. Games? Quests? Collecting? Chatting on the forums? Setting goals is good, but finding parts of the site you enjoy is more important. Have fun!

Thank you! (: I am already trying to work on training. What stats are the most important or are they all equally important?

They're all equally important.

Intelligence comes from reading books to them; if you go to Veta lake on the Explore map, you'll get the Lakeside Resort where you can check your pets in and they'll be fed automatically. The healer is accessed under your Pet page, you click the little down arrow above the big green bars and then "Heal." c:
