I just pushed an update that should take away a lot of the problems that came from editing in / trying to ping large forum groups. Typically, it'd hang (and if you submitted multiple times you'd get a ton of events for the first 30 people it tried to ping).

Now all of those pings are added into a queue, which means it can take a 1-2 minutes for your pings to show up (typically < 45 seconds) but this should help the lag that you get when editing pings by a lot.

I'm having this problem with # sbqrs, # goodhustle, and with individual pings to me now too.

ten pings from the same group (# sbqrs), staggered over the last 7 minutes. :'D came from ">this post, if it helps! (twelve pings now, as of typing this) (sixteen, they just keep coming oh god)

I have officially received 24 pings for ">http://subeta.net/forums.php/read/5688/Cash-Shop-Hustler-RS-Pinging/361/ she only pinged once... pings still trickling in every few seconds and I'm not the only one..

edit: 39 for goodhustle I am so thankful right about now I un-joined sbqrs after I got my kimono. :)

I am up to almost 90 pings from Subqrs and Goodhustle ping groups.

Make it end @.@ I've gotten 30+ from goodhustle and they're still coming! REVENGE OF THE PINGS

ps, it's happening with personal pings as well, though it seems not nearly as bad somehow.

The flood of pings was funny for the first 5 minutes, but now I'm drowning and the site's almost unusable. :(

OMG!!! I didn't even know that page existed. Thanks . I bookmarked it, but it would be a handy one to have under Personal in the navigation bar. :)
