I've never been, but you should let us know how it goes.

Aaah I looked at it last year and probably would have gone if my health had not been so bad, I ended up falling a few weeks beforehand and was pretty much bedridden. >__< Can't make it this year either since we're busy and I'm still not in great shape. Have you gone before? What's it like? I have gone to a few small "pioneer days" or "fort days" locally which are vaguely similar but not nearly as big or elaborate as the Ren Fair.

Last time I went it was back in... 7th grade? Maybe 8th?

We ended up not getting to go due to financial problems. It's so awesome! Get to eat and participate in events that took place back in the medieval times. We had a turkey leg, seasoned grilled corn on the cob, got to hatch a dragon, watched the bird trainers, watched the knights fight and tried to catch fairies. It was so nice.

Aw sorry you couldn't go this year. That does sound like a lot of fun! Do you remember if many people go in period clothing, or is it mostly just the exhibitors/vendors who dress up?

Nah, money doesn't grow on trees. You can go in period clothing and you get discounts on various things if you do. Pretty cool.
